I realized I messed up when I went to rejoin the domain I added a "LocalAdmin" - but didn't set the type to admin. I had to remove the machine from the domain Before doing that. I decided to let MS install the 22H2 build.

Are there any competing checkbook and account tracking programs that can import Quicken data and that have no subscription? I would like to buy a pre-subscription (2014, 2015 or 2016, I think) version of Quicken (that has an activation code), but can't find any on ebay or Amazon or anywhere that looks reputable.ģ. is there any way to eek out the activation code from the software on my desktop? If so, I might be able to download Quicken online, but I'm thinking that might only apply to subscription versions.Ģ. The reason I have the H&B version is I used to be self employed, but no longer am.ġ. I use Quicken to track my checking and savings accounts. I also don't use advanced features like downloading transactions or accessing financial accounts. I have no interest in buying new Quicken software that requires a subscription. 
I can still use the program on my desktop.
The problem is that lost the activation code for the Quicken program during a move, and I don't seem to have a Quicken account setup for what I have.
Said PC is on its last legs, and I'd like to install the Quicken program on my laptop, bringing over the data file. I have Quicken Home & Business 2014 installed on my desktop PC.
